 Andy Aydelott,
49, of Graham is proud of his eleven years as head
of Pristine landscaping company.
"I started with nothing when I began my
landscaping business," says the former hi-tech
salesman, who left his fast-paced world to shed the
stress of constant travel and corporate quotas.
Part of that change was moving to Graham "to be more
in the country," and now Aydelott has a company that
now employs three full-time crews and has accounts
throughout Pierce county.
"We can do it all," Aydelott says with confidence
and grace, "from complete installations to routine
maintenance." His full-sized projects can
include irrigation, design and material selection -
all the way to plant selection and planting.
Aydelott's formula for success is not magical: "Be
on time, be respectful, and deliver what you say
you're going to do at a fair price."
In addition, Aydelott adds a personal touch.
"The customer doesn't pay until we walk the project
together and they are completely satisfied."
As for his personal achievements, Aydelott has a
unique perspective: "One of my talents is that I ask
for help when I don't know something," he said with
a laugh. "It's important to be humble!"
Andy is also proud of how loyal his employees
are, and how hard they work. "I treat them the
way I like to be treated," he says, adding, "I sleep
good at night, and that's the most important thing."
